New: Added a newly designed menu template in the Creator module named The Fleeting Meteor which can be downloaded from the Menu Library. New: Added the support to remove the Cinavia watermarks as found on the DVD version of The Commuter and the 4K Ultra HD version of The Fate of the Furious (Spanish edition) and The Huntsman: Winter's War. Now if I could just get Memorex (The only DL brand I can find in stores) to stop rating their dual-layer disks at 8X, then people like myself, would stop throwing away expensive disks! (They only burn properly at 4X or 6X) I tossed 4 before I got the clue.Fix: A crash problem when switching output size at the Advanced Settings panel of Blu-ray to DVD Converter module. If at some point, at least 1/3 of the DVD's I try, won't decrypt/copy with free software, I might consider paying. This is the first DVD in several years that I couldn't do with free software.

As to the cost of purchasing a license and 1yr update subscription, it's just too high at this time. I have a copy now that plays just like the original, menu navigation and all, but it took BOTH AnyDVD and CloneDVD to do it. AFTER also installing CloneDVD, cloneDVD did all of the structure protection maneuvers, skipping fake titles, and edited the IFO to create an ISO that worked perfectly. Those options were NOT THERE until I also downloaded and installed CloneDVD.

AnyDVD only removes copy/region code protection. I don't mean to be sarcastic, but oh jeez, I never would have thought of that.

I didn't use any other decrypting software other than AnyDVD. Using AnyDVD, right click on the 'fox' tray icon and select 'Rip Video DVD to Hard Disk', then select your destination. Thank you for understanding this new policy and we hope you will continue to use and enjoy DVDFab products. These and other business factors will make it more feasible for us to continue to offer the free version of DVDFab on an ongoing basis.ĭVDFab HD Decrypter will continue to receive immediate bug fixes, and new protection removal will be updated generally within 30-60 days of initial release to registered users. We also feel that the registered users who support product development financially should have the most timely access to new features. This new policy was developed in part due to the increased staff workload in maintaining all the versions and defeating the new protections of both Blu-ray and standard DVDs. For Blu-ray to Blu-ray, only through MKB10 is supported, while MKB11-16 have been added to the registered version. Specifically, for V6.1.2.5, the protection removal for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is not included in DVDFab HD Decrypter. This includes updates to copy protection schemes for both DVD and Blu-ray. Users attempting to use a feature that has not been updated will receive a message to that effect.

The effect of this new policy is that some of the features, fixes and updates in the release notes will not apply to the HD Decrypter version of the product immediately. There are many reasons for this, some of which are explained below.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING DVDFab HD DecrypterĮffective with DVDFab v6.1.2.5, the updates for the free version of the product, DVDFab HD Decrypter, will no longer be linked to updates of the registered version.
